Definition
Renting and leasing operations of personal passenger vehicles, pick-up trucks and vans without drivers, personal passenger cars, commercial vehicles such as vans, 1-ton pick-up trucks including passenger cars with a bed and semi-trucks, camping vehicles such as caravans and motor homes, cars, off-road vehicles such as jeeps, golf course vehicles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), go-karts.

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists. This activity is not among the mappings we hold, so a foreign investor can generally hold up to 100% of the equity, subject to any sector-specific licence and to minimum-capital rules (typically THB 2 million per restricted business, or THB 3 million where a Foreign Business Licence applies).

- US Treaty of Amity — US nationals may hold majority ownership in most activities, treated as Thai nationals for FBA purposes.
