Definition
The letting and operation of real estate that is owned or leased from others for residential purposes, usually on a monthly or yearly basis, such as furnished or unfurnished houses, flats or apartment buildings, multi-use buildings used primarily for residential purposes, including mobile homes, owner-operated rental developments.
Excluded from this code
- Hotel, apartment and similar accommodation arrangements, see sub-group 5510.
- Providing camping grounds, trailer parks and similar accommodation facilities, see sub-class 5520.
