Definition
Heating system installation, extension, alteration, repair and maintenance of systems and equipment. Also includes heating systems within buildings or as part of construction projects, piping installation, heating systems (electric, gas, oil), central heating systems, furnaces, cooling towers, solar water heaters, steam piping, installation, repair and maintenance of gas piping such as oxygen gas used in hospitals and other related piping installations.
Excluded from this code
- Construction of pipelines (water, oil, gas and other liquids) for long-distance, urban or local pipeline construction for public utility projects. See activity 42201.
- Installation of electrical panels to control heating. See activity 43210.
