Definition
Site preparation for construction includes preparation of construction area, earthworks including excavation-filling, leveling construction area, digging ditches, moving rocks, blasting rocks, etc., preparation of mining area such as removing obstacles, developing and preparing mining site, except oil and gas sites, drilling, drilling soil and collecting samples of materials for construction work, geographic and geological conditions or for similar purposes. It also includes construction, drainage of construction area, drainage for agriculture or forest areas, and clearing of mining or other areas (including blasting) from the construction area.
Excluded from this code
- Drilling for oil or gas wells, see subclasses 0610 and 0620.
- Test drilling and inspection of wells for mining purposes (other than oil and gas extraction), see subclass 0990.
- Removal of soil contaminants, see subgroup 3900.
- Well drilling, see sub-group 4220
- Sinking of structures, see subgroup 4390.
- Oil and gas well exploration, geophysical, geological and seismic surveys, see subgroup 7110.
