Definition
Construction Construction of all types of non-residential buildings/constructions. Buildings/constructions for the production of goods, such as factories, repair shops, assembly plants, hospitals, schools, office buildings, religious buildings, hotels, shops, shopping centers, restaurants, airports, indoor sports facilities, such as indoor tennis courts, gymnasiums, indoor sports venues, boat sheds, ice rinks, etc., warehouses, parking buildings, including underground parking, alterations or renovations to existing non-residential buildings, assembly of prefabricated non-residential buildings at construction sites, restoration of historic sites and buildings.
Excluded from this code
- Installation of prefabricated parts other than concrete work, see subsections 16 and 25.
- Construction of public utilities and facilities, except for industrial factory buildings. See activity 42901.
- Construction of outdoor sports facilities. See activity 42909.
