Definition
Repair and maintenance of fabricated metal products in sub-category 25. Also includes repair of metal tanks, reservoirs and containers; repair and maintenance of pipes, oil and natural gas pipelines; repair of mobile welding machines; repair of large round steel tanks used in the transport of goods; repair and maintenance of steam or other steam generators; repair and maintenance of machinery used in conjunction with steam generators, such as steam generators, condensers, waste water heaters, superheaters, steam collectors and accumulators; repair and maintenance of nuclear reactors, except isotope separators; repair and maintenance of components for ship boilers and power boilers; repair of central heating boilers and cooling towers; repair and maintenance of small arms and munitions (including the repair of sporting and recreational firearms).

Foreign ownership

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists.
