Definition

Manufacture of control systems for automated industrial process control. Manufacture of devices and equipment used for measuring, displaying, indicating, recording, transmitting and controlling various variables in industrial processes such as temperature, humidity, pressure, vacuum, combustion, flow, level, viscosity, density, acidity, concentration and rotation, calculating devices (e.g. registers), fluid meters and counting devices.

Excluded from this code

  • Manufacture of equipment for measurement, testing, piloting and control purposes not used in industrial production processes. See activity 26511.

Foreign ownership

Not on the Foreign Business Act restricted lists.

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists.
