Definition
Manufacture of safes, safes, security doors, security lockers, cash or document boxes and similar articles of metal; manufacture of metal office furniture (except furniture), document trays, paper stands, pen trays, stamp stands and similar office or desk articles; fixtures for filing files, letter clips and similar office articles, including staple strips.

Foreign ownership

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists. This activity is not among the mappings we hold, so a foreign investor can generally hold up to 100% of the equity, subject to any sector-specific licence and to minimum-capital rules (typically THB 2 million per restricted business, or THB 3 million where a Foreign Business Licence applies).

- US Treaty of Amity — US nationals may hold majority ownership in most activities, treated as Thai nationals for FBA purposes.
