Definition

Production of uranium metal from pitchblend or other ores; melting and purification of uranium; production of chromium, manganese, nickel, etc., from ores or oxides; production of chromium, manganese, nickel, etc. by electrorefining wastes and scraps of chromium, manganese, nickel, etc., and by aluminothermic methods; production of alloys containing chromium, manganese, nickel, etc.; semi-manufactured production of chromium, manganese, nickel; production of surface nickel, including the production of wire from the above-mentioned metals by drawing; production of tubes or pipes and tube or pipe fittings, of base metals other than ferrous, not elsewhere classified.

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists.
