Definition

Production of liquefied and compressed inorganic gases used in industry and medicine, such as various gases, refrigerant gases (used in refrigerators), industrial gas mixtures, inert gases such as carbon dioxide, separated gases.

Excluded from this code

  • Separation of fuel gases such as methane, ethane, butane or propane. See activity 06200.
  • Production of fuel gases such as ethane, butane or propane obtained from oil refining. See activity 19201.

Foreign ownership

Not on the Foreign Business Act restricted lists.

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists. This activity is not among the mappings we hold, so a foreign investor can generally hold up to 100% of the equity, subject to any sector-specific licence and to minimum-capital rules (typically THB 2 million per restricted business, or THB 3 million where a Foreign Business Licence applies).
