Definition

Tanning, dyeing and dressing of animal hides; manufacture and dressing of chamois, leather, parchment, oiled or metallic leather; manufacture of composition leather; scraping, brushing, tanning, dyeing, shearing, plucking and dyeing of woollens.

Foreign ownership

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists.   • US Treaty of Amity — US nationals may hold majority ownership in most activities, treated as Thai nationals for FBA purposes.
