Definition

Manufacture of textile floor coverings, carpets, rugs and doormats, roof insulation. Also includes the manufacture of machine-knit felt floor coverings.

Excluded from this code

  • Manufacture of mats and floor coverings of woven materials, see subclass 1629.
  • Manufacture of cork flooring, see subclass 1629.
  • Manufacture of plastic floor coverings, such as vinyl, linoleum, see subclass 2221.

Foreign ownership

The Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542 (1999) restricts majority foreign ownership only for the activities named in its three annexed Lists.
