Production of granulated sugar by processing raw sugar through cleaning, bleaching, simmering, centrifuging to separate sugar crystals and baking; production of artificial sugar from sugarcane; production of syrup from sugarcane; production of invert sugar; production of granulated sugar; production of sugar with added colors and flavors, such as caramelized sugar, colored sugar, etc.; production of molasses. In cases where the establishment operates both the production of raw sugar from sugarcane and the purification of granulated sugar in the same place, it is also classified in this activity (sugar factory).
